About Me

I am a Certified Massage Therapist, Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula and mama of four beautiful children (2 boys, 2 girls).  I graduated from Harvard University in 2002 with a BA in psychology, and The Boulder College of Massage Therapy (with over 1100 hours of training) in 2003.  I have been practicing massage ever since.  I have traveled all over the world, studying healing modalities along the way, discovering my passion for natural medicine and holistic health.  My massage style blends my knowledge and skills from a variety of modalities, and is deep, rhythmic and therapeutic.  I am a Professional Practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage (with advanced training in pregnancy/postpartum), a Thai massage practitioner, a yoga instructor (with over 200 hours of teacher training with Shiva Rea), and a student of Ayurveda.

I discovered my “calling” working with mamas during the pregnancy and birth of my first son in 2008.  I see birth as a sacred rite of passage; an essential time for a woman to feel empowered and connected to her body, her baby and the miraculous process unfolding.  Through various modalities I encourage and guide mamas on an inner journey throughout pregnancy, through the birth…and beyond! I am an advocate of natural childbirth (having four home births, with one of them unassisted)  and am passionate about health and healing through whole foods.

My intention is to be a guide, a mentor, and a mama along side with you, giving you the love, nurturing, rejuvenation and personalized care that you need and deserve.

Outside of this work, my time and interests involve hiking, yoga, baking, dabbling in the arts and enjoying the mystery and magic with my family. They certainly keep me busy…constantly teaching me to Be in the present moment.
